Go roaming and save money at the same time
Recent changes to EU regulations have prompted a reduction in international roaming charges and as a result, from 30th September 2007 your mobile account will be upgraded to “Euro Tariff”.
What will it mean to my business?
In short; GREATER SAVINGS. The new EU regulations mean that roaming customers are charged no more than 38.8p p/minute for any call made and only 19p p/minute for call received within the EU (charges may vary depending on network).
How can I start benefiting from this service?
Absolutely nothing. This service will be automatically introduced on your account.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind:
• If you are already on a specific roaming tariff, you will not be transferred automatically
to the Euro Tariff. Please call the number below to discuss your options.
• When entering a country outside the UK, customers will receive a text message outlining ‘personalised roaming costs’, completely free of charge.
• A more detailed outline of roaming charges for voice calls, SMS, MMS and other data communication services are available upon request, again free of charge.
• You may see some changes in your next bill whilst the tariff is updated (there may be a temporary dip in the charges applied). Please do not worry as this will balance out again the following month.
